The Work and Life of Professor Mohammad Hassan Kakar
Professor Mohammad Hassan Kakar was a historian, researcher, university lecturer, and translator. He studied history at Kabul University, earned his master’s degree in philosophy, and a doctorate in the philosophy of history from SOAS, University of London. He taught in the Department of History at Kabul University, later serving as head of the department. He authored more than ten academic and research works, along with hundreds of articles in Pashto, Dari, and English spanning history, the social sciences, and literature — alongside translations in history, ethics, and philosophy.
